A QUICK STORY

I feel my fascination with video games started later in life than most people.  I was a LEGO kid, I played games but hardly as much as most and didn't really discover the magic of the medium until I was maybe around 15 and played 'The Last of Us' for the first time.

WHAT I WANT TO DO

I've always been fascinated with stories. From those days of telling my own grandiose tales with Lego as a kid, to the utter stunned silence as Joel gunned down a surgeon in 'The Last of Us', narrative is always something I knew I wanted to play with in some form.  I feel Narrative Design is perhaps a lofty goal for an entry level position, so I believe a good starting point for that career path would be Level Design.  I personally view this discipline as the perfect gateway to learning how to craft an excellent story, as Level Design is an incredible tool for subtly building narrative through the players interaction with the environment.
